I had a great time at this hostel during my recent visit to Izmir. I stayed for 4 nights and the location was perfect. The private room had big windows and good ventilation, which helped a lot with the hot weather. The easy check-in process and laid-back environment made me feel right at home. The bathrooms were nice and the rooftop was a great bonus. The staff were friendly, interesting, and always available to help out. The homemade and vegetarian breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return when I'm back in town.
Totally recommend this hotel.

A great vibe with AC in the dormitory, curtains on bunk beds, a balcony, and a delicious daily breakfast. Perfect place to meet fellow travelers.
Felt like a home away from home, nothing too much trouble.

I had a really pleasant stay at this cozy hostel in a buzzing area. The location was perfect, just a few minutes' walk to the metro station and close to the water. The staff, particularly Jimmy, was very friendly and welcoming. They even offered me a nice herbal tea as a welcome drink. The common area was a great place to relax and meet other travelers. The facilities met my basic needs, with a clean bed and bathroom, a chill-out area, a kitchen, and reliable wifi. I would recommend this hostel for budget travelers looking for a home-like atmosphere.

This hotel is conveniently located close to the city center, near stations for all types of transport and within walking distance of great bars and restaurants. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help. Breakfast is vegetarian, but they serve delicious and fresh food. Additionally, the hotel facilities are clean and well-maintained.
Cannot find any fault.

This hotel is located in a buzzing area, right in the center of all the action. With bars and restaurants nearby, you'll never run out of options for dining and entertainment. Plus, the staff here is super friendly and helpful, making your stay more enjoyable. The rooms are cozy and some even have balconies, giving you a nice spot to relax and take in the city atmosphere.
Some minor improvements could be made, such as enhancing the air-conditioning system and adding lockers for guests' belongings.

Could use some improvement in soundproofing.

Located in a buzzing area, this hotel is perfect for travelers who want to be in the heart of the action. With plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops just a stone's throw away, guests can easily explore the lively surroundings. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, making you feel right at home. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and even come with a balcony to enjoy the city vibes.
One minor inconvenience was the bed allocation system, which resulted in some guests being moved around during their stay.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city. Just a short walk away from the train and tram station, and surrounded by restaurants and shops. The bed was spacious and comfortable, providing a good night’s rest. the hotel offered a simple and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing stay.
The hotel lacked adequate cleanliness in both common areas and the room. The absence of lockers was a concern for ensuring the safety of personal belongings, and the structure itself was not as modern and well-lit as I would have preferred.

If you're in for a chill atmosphere and a friendly staff, Shantihome is the place to be. the welcoming and helpful staff made us feel like we were invited to a friend's house. We arrived late, but they stayed up to let us in. They even went the extra mile by offering to share their food and making us a tea when we weren't feeling well. the breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of delicious dishes and a sunny living room where we shared the meal with other guests and hosts. Best breakfast we had in Turkey!
Nothing bad to say 👍.
